About CSI

In Jan 2002, KNWEBS Inc. dba CSI, incorporated with the State of Oklahoma.  Working with the OSBDC (Oklahoma Small Business Development Center) we were advised to start our business out in one of the Oklahoma Incubator facilities.  CSI choose to move into the ETEC center in Norman, OK.  CSI got our SDB (Small Disadavanged Business) certification through the SBA.  In 2005, we got our HUBZone certification the OSBDC recognized CSI as a STAR client.  Beginning in 2006, we applied for and received our 8a certification and GSA IT 70 schedule followed later in the year. 

Since the inception of CSI we have experienced double our annual revenues.  When our employee count got over 50 we discovered that needed a better model for recruiting our talented workforce.  CSI stood up our recruitment division who's mission was to find the highly-skilled qualified employees to meet the needs of the Contracting Division.  We received a lot of attention from our contracting peers with the quality and retention of CSI employees supporting our clients.  CSI started getting requests from other company's to help them find unique/highly-skilled contractors.  These positions are both CONUS and OCONUS supporting the war fighter. 

What about 2008?  CSI opened another operating location at Dayton, Ohio supporting Wright-Patterson AFB.  We'll be expanding our recruitment division to support both contracting requirements as well as recruitment for other contracting firms.  These expansions will keep CSI on track to once again double our annual revenues.

What is the culture of CSI?  We don't manufacture widgets!  We offer services; therefore, CSI is only as good as the employees supporting our clients.  We continue to get excellent feedback from our clients including a small business excellence award from Northrop Grumman in 2007.  CSI was chosen out of several thousand suppliers!  Another tribute to the quality of employees is when the prime contractor or Federal Gov't acquires one of CSI employees.  We believe this is the greatest compliment a sub or contractor can receive as our employee will continue to be a contributor to the mission they/we were asked to support!
