Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented experienced individual to increase the capacity and expertise of its Information Technology staff. The Production Systems Engineer will be responsible all aspects of implementing and maintaining the clients custom software application running in our 24x7 environment. The Engineer will cross train with other IT team members and will work to increase the overall bench strength of the team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years IT experience working in a high availability IT environment
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Strong sense of customer service and teamwork
• Experience with Microsoft server operating systems running in a high availability environment
• Experience with performance measurement and tuning
• Good skills with scripting languages such as Perl
• Experience with file transfer protocols such as AS2, sFTP, Ftp
• Knowledge of SQL commands
• Experience with Tomcat, Jboss and IIS
Additional consideration will be given to those with the following experience.
• Experience with virtualization using VMware
• Prior experience in a QA environment
• Experience with IBM ClearCase and ClearQuest
