Functional Responsibilities:
Consults on moderate to complex problems associated with designing technical engineering solutions for either internal products or customer solutions. Collects information from customers, account teams, and Eng group that is specific to the network issue for purposes of designing network solutions Works independently in the research and evaluation of communications technologies and products. Delivers moderately complex network designs and solutions based on established processes and procedures and products, with little help and guidance of senior engineers. Researches and documents complex solutions with clarity for presentation to customers; Must possess good communication skills. Reviews and provides network design consultation for moderate to complex network solutions.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform routine to complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. Generally requires a BS degree, or equivalent, and 3-5 years experience in a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Basic Level Network Certification (CCNA or equivalent) Plus experience in other technologies as well as service delivery; Excellent technical written and presentation capabilities; must have 3-6 years of network design experience
